Terms of Service

The service

Pickshot is a web service for making and editing images, video and audio with AI, together with a community for sharing work (Space, posts, comments and messages). Guests can create 8 images a day. Open image models can be used on every plan with no limit on the number of images; to keep the service running smoothly, the order and speed of generation may vary with each plan's priority, usage and server conditions. Members use credits for everything else. Some generation features are in preview and open in stages.

Accounts

You must be 19 or older to sign up (18 or older outside Korea), because the AI model providers we use allow adult users only. You sign up with Google, X, Discord or an email code. Making several accounts to collect more benefits, and selling, buying or lending accounts, are not allowed. You are responsible for your sign-in methods.

Credits

• Credits are the allowance you use when you make images, video or audio, use the editing tools and run apps. There are two kinds. Paid credits come from paying for a Booster Pass or a membership; free credits are the ones you get for nothing, such as for signing up, daily visits, referrals and events. In Settings > Credits you can see each credit’s kind (free credits are marked “free”) and its expiry date.
• Credits can be used only inside Pickshot, as the fee for generation. They cannot be transferred, gifted or traded, exchanged for cash, vouchers or the payment method of another service, and we do not offer cash-out.
• Credits spent on a failed generation are refunded automatically.

Free benefits and referrals

You get 50 credits once when you sign up, and 10 credits on your first visit each day while your balance is under 200. When a friend signs up with your invite link, they get 50 credits and you get 100 (you can earn for up to 30 friends a month). If that friend starts their first paid membership within 90 days of joining, you get 30% and they get 10% of the plan’s credits 7 days after the payment (once per friend, up to 50 friends a month); a refund before then cancels it. Free credits are not refundable. Benefits obtained by self-referral, multiple accounts or other abuse are taken back and the accounts may be suspended. Benefits may change; credits you already received are not affected.

Memberships and Booster Passes

• Payment: you pay with cards and other methods offered by our payment processor (PG). Prices shown include applicable taxes and are on the pricing page. Every product is a digital pass you pay for once; nothing renews or is charged again automatically.
• Memberships (Plus, Pro, Max) are 30-day passes: you pay once and use it for 30 days from the payment. Paying gives you the plan’s credits (paid credits), which do not roll over. When the 30 days end you return to the free plan; paying for the same plan again adds 30 days to what is left. Automatic monthly billing is not available yet; when it opens we will announce it 7 days before and apply it only to members who agree.
• Booster Passes (90-day passes) give you 1,000, 3,000, 10,000 or 30,000 credits for one payment. They can be used for 90 days from the day you buy them, and the credits that are left expire after that. The expiry date is shown at checkout and in Settings > Credits. If you buy a Booster Pass while a membership is active, bonus credits are added (Plus +10%, Pro +20%, Max +30%); the bonus expires on the same day as the pass.
• Validity: Booster Pass credits expire 90 days after you buy them, a membership’s credits 30 days after they are added, and free credits (sign-up, daily, referral) 90 days after you get them. Credits that expire first are spent first, and whether a refund is possible is judged by how many paid credits were used. We email you 30 days and 7 days before Booster Pass credits expire (a service notice, unrelated to consent for marketing email).
• API use: the public API can only spend paid credits from a subscription or a purchase; free credits cannot be used through it.
• Delivery: this is a digital service. Credits and membership benefits are added to your account as soon as payment completes; nothing is shipped.
• What these are: memberships and Booster Passes are digital passes you pay for to use Pickshot’s AI content generation service. They are not prepaid cards or gift cards, cannot be given to anyone else, and cannot be exchanged for cash or for the payment method of another service.
• Payment processing: payments are processed by our payment processors (Korea PortOne Inc. and KG Inicis Co., Ltd.). If we later accept payments from abroad through a Merchant of Record, that company may handle payment processing, customer service and refunds; we will announce it on the site beforehand and show the seller at checkout.

Withdrawal and refunds

• Booster Passes: you can withdraw within 7 days of paying. Refund = amount paid × unused paid credits ÷ paid credits granted; if you used none, we refund it in full with no penalty. Bonus credits added by a membership count as used first and are not counted as paid credits used, and spending free credits does not count as using paid credits.
• 30-day passes: within 7 days of paying we refund the same way. If you cancel after 7 days while the pass is running, we refund the amount paid minus the share of credits used, less 10% of what is left (refund = amount paid × unused credits ÷ credits granted × 90%).
• Booster Passes after 7 days: you cannot withdraw just because you changed your mind. We do refund in the cases below and in the cases the law provides.
• What cannot be withdrawn: the part for which generation has already started with credits is excluded from withdrawal under Article 17(2)(v) of Korea’s Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. We show this at checkout in advance, and before paying you can try the service with free models and free credits.
• If what you got differs from what was shown: if it was provided differently from the display, advertising or contract, you can withdraw within 3 months of receiving it, or within 30 days of the day you learned or could have learned of it.
• If we could not provide the service: if a server fault or other reason on our side stopped generation from working, we restore the credits spent or extend the period, and if it stays hard to use we refund the part that is left. A duplicate charge is refunded in full whatever the date.
• How to ask: write to support. Within 3 business days of receiving your wish to withdraw we refund by the same method you paid with (cancelling the card authorization), and if we are late we add interest on the delay at 15% a year. It can take another 3–7 business days for the cancellation to reach your card. Refunds go back only to the payment method, never as cash or a bank transfer.
• A refund takes back the credits and benefits that payment gave you. Free credits are not refundable.

Community rules

Spam and ad flooding, harassment, hate speech, publishing other people’s personal information, impersonation and illegal content are not allowed in posts, comments or messages. Content reported by several members may be hidden until reviewed, and our team may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Messages are visible only to the people in the conversation; our team reads a message only when it is reported. You can block anyone you don’t want to hear from.

Prohibited use

Sexual content, content that sexualizes or endangers minors, graphic violence, hate speech, composites that impersonate or defame real people, editing other people’s photos without consent, copyright or trademark infringement, and attacks on the service such as automated bulk requests or bypassing security are prohibited. Violations can lead to content removal and account suspension.

Your work

You own the images, video and audio you create and are responsible for how you use them. Work you make public may be displayed and featured within Pickshot. Each model provider’s license terms also apply.

Models and trademarks

The names of models, companies and products that appear in the service are trademarks of their owners. Pickshot is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by those owners; the names are used only so you can tell which model you are using.

AI disclosure

Work made with Pickshot is AI-generated. Follow each platform’s AI labeling rules when you post it elsewhere.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Account. Your work, uploaded files, boards, references, characters, API keys and credits are deleted and cannot be recovered. So other members’ conversations still make sense, your posts, comments and messages remain as empty placeholders. Content that was reported and is under review may be kept until the review ends.

Disclaimer

AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected. The service is provided as is, and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages.

Changes and governing law

We announce changes to these terms on the site 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before for changes that are less favorable to you. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. October 8, 2026: the credit packs are now described as Booster Passes (90-day passes); we added how credit kinds and expiry dates are shown, the withdrawal and refund rules, what happens when we could not provide the service, and how refunds are made, and memberships are now described as 30-day passes (paid once).
