AI Object Remover: Erase People, Text and Clutter

What is an AI object remover?

An AI object remover, often called a magic eraser, deletes something you mark in a photo and rebuilds the background that was hidden behind it, so there is no blank hole or obvious smudge. In Pickshot it is the Erase tool in the image editor: you paint a mask over the unwanted parts, refine it with the Brush, Eraser, Invert and Clear controls, and the result is saved as a new version you can compare with the original.

Why erase with Pickshot

Paint exactly what goes

Brush and Eraser (B and E), a brush size from 6 to 240 px ([ and ] to resize), Invert and Clear give you a precise mask, even around small text.

Fills in, not smudged

Instead of blurring the area, the fill continues the surroundings, such as pavement, sky, a wall or sand.

18 credits per run

Erase costs 18 credits whatever the size of the painted area, shown on the button first. The 50 credits you get on sign-in cover 2 erases.

Zoom in for small details

Zoom with + and −, hold Space and drag to pan, and press 0 to fit, so you can clean up small text and stains.

Compare and step back

Hold \ to see the original or use the split view, and return to any earlier version in History to try a different mask.

Keep editing afterwards

Expand the cleaned photo to a new ratio, upscale it or relight it in the same editor, without uploading it again.

How to remove objects from a photo

Use the Brush to cover the person, text or object, a little past its edges. Switch to Eraser to fix the mask, or use Invert and Clear.

  3. Erase and check

Questions

How much does the AI eraser cost?

18 credits per run, whatever the size of the painted area. The price is on the Erase button before you run, and signing in gives you 50 free credits.

Can it remove people from photos?

Yes. Paint over the person, including their shadow, and press Erase. Painting a little past the edges helps the fill blend in. Only edit photos you have the right to use.

Can I remove watermarks?

Only from your own images, such as a date stamp or your own logo on a photo you took. Removing someone else's watermark or copyright notice can infringe their rights, so please don't.

What files can I use?

JPG, PNG or WebP up to 20 MB. Photos larger than 4096 px on the long side are scaled down to 4096 px when opened.

Is my photo uploaded?

Painting the mask happens in your browser. When you press Erase, the photo and the mask are sent to the AI model provider that runs the job. See the privacy policy for details.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, in mobile browsers. Paint with your finger and pinch to zoom in on small details.

Can I use the edited photo commercially?

Check Pickshot's Terms of Service and the model licence before commercial use, and only edit photos you own or have permission to use.
